Environmental, Social and Governance

For close to two decades, we’ve been working to deliver you the most beautiful home fragrance and bodycare products, and we’re pretty proud of that…

Though we also recognise that we need to do more to make not only your homes, but our home, our world, more beautiful.

We want to be transparent with our consumers, and ourselves, and acknowledge our social and environmental impact while consciously on this ever-changing journey.

We’ve got an exciting road ahead and want to share some of the steps we’re taking;

SOCIAL IMPACTS

Giving back to our communities

Due to the nature of our products and their gift-ability, requests from organisations for product and cash donations is very high.  As a brand we make various donations of product throughout the year to various chosen organisations.

While we continue to make those smaller donations, we are also focused on channelling our resources into Children's Hospitals Charities in both Australia and NZ.

SUPPLY CHAIN

Local Manufacturing

Keeping our manufacturing local ensures job creation and control over employment laws as well as best practice when it comes to quality of ingredients.

We partner with manufacturers and suppliers that align with our brand values when it comes to upstanding employment and social and sustainable ethics.

PRODUCT

Our Formulations

All our products are kosher and vegan friendly and we strive to use plant based ingredients when and where we can.

Our fragrance partners are the biggest suppliers of fragrance in the world, created by leading perfumers. All of these fragrances are supported by IFRA (International Fragrance Association), which is the world regulator in safe use of fragrance.

OUR PACKAGING

We are a member of APCO (Australian Packaging Covenant Organisation) and have been since July 2015. APCO is a co-regulatory not-for-profit organisation leading the development of a circular economy for packaging in Australia.

Being a member of APCO means we agree to shared commitments and joint responsibilities. Working with Government and Industry to achieve sustainable packaging through material reduction, design, targeted recycling rates, reduced waste to landfill, alternative materials and circular economy activities.

We are proud to share that we have been given an overall score of 90% which falls within the ‘Beyond best practice’ level. View our latest report here.

FUTURE STATE

What’s next?

We acknowledge that we’ve got a long way to go and we’re committed to doing our best while providing the best. Our social and environmental journey is an ongoing and important project for us and we are committed to constantly considering what our overall impact is and how we can improve on it to create a more beautiful world.
